The two day bikepacking adventure weekend.
Starting and finishing at a pub near the seaside, your two day adventure will take you on a beautiful 100 mile route around Dorset.
Half way round you will roll into the Gravel Dash camp complete with fresh hot food, and Jules the friendly farmer with his bar in a horsebox.

This is the original gravel challenge. 100 miles in one go.
You can expect every variation of terrain Dorset has, from fast rolling back roads, dusty heathlands, woodland singletrack, and of course, lots of gravel.
Your epic day out concludes with a hearty cheer as you roll into the garden of a charming coastal pub.

About Us
The Kinesis UK 2025 Dorset Gravel Dash offers two different events on the same route on an action packed and fun weekend on 24/25 May 2025.
This was the first gravel event in the UK, and is the perfect way to experience the rugged beauty of Dorset and the Jurassic Coast with fine gravel riding, camaraderie and castles.

Gravel Dash History
The Dorset Gravel Dash was started in 2014 by me, Charlie Hobbs, formerly known as "Charlie The Bikemonger". Around 35 people gathered in a pub garden and set off for 100 miles of Dorset trails. A couple of years later we added the the overnight bikepacking option for a more relaxed adventure weekend.
The Dorset Gravel Dash is credited as the UK's first "gravel" event. We think it was also the first bikepacking event of this style.
